You may need different types of tires depending on the location where you are driving the cart. If you buy the right type of tires for your carts, then you can ensure the good condition of cart and also your safety.
The frames, wheels and tires of golf carts are available in three different types based on usage. These different types are meant for different requirements. The first one is called Turf tires and is used for common golf cart uses. They are specially designed for driving on golf courses and also the surfaces which are having short grass. The fields of a golf vehicle are normally smooth. And because of this they are not safe for any other type of riding. These tires are delicate, and because of this you cannot drive it on a pavement or gravel.
The second type of golf cart prior an all-terrain model. They have much thicker upper grooves and because of this it can get different types of terrain. They can be used for those carts that are using for landscaping and also for maintaining a large property. These golf cart tires can increase your productivity and also make your job easier. If you can’t find a tire type that matches your requirement, then you can use all-terrain tires.
Street type golf tires are the last type of golf cart tires. They are specially designed for use on paved surfaces. They are similar to turf variants as they are very smooth. But street golf vehicle tires have a much thicker rubber, so they can withstand the grinding that may occur when driving the vehicle on a pavement. After you decide the type of tire you need, you can buy new tires. Normally Turf and pavement golf cart tires are available in the similar price. They are available at the rate of US$ 50 per tire. All-terrain tires are heavy duty compared to the other two and because of this they are costlier.
